West Kootenay Labour Council Treats Locked Out FortisBC Workers & Their Families To Some Holiday Cheer

TRAIL-The West Kootenay Labour Council provided some holiday cheer for locked out FortisBC workers and their families on Sunday, December 8 in Trail, B.C.

Everyone was treated to a free movie and treats at the Trail Royal Theatre, where they watched the movie “Arthur Christmas”. That was followed by a lunch at the USW 480 Hall, where Santa Claus surprised one and all with a visit, handing out gifts to all the children in attendance.

Families in attendance left the lunch with a food voucher courtesy of the West Kootenay Labour Council and its union affiliates. Those FortisBC workers and their families not able to be present will also receive food vouchers from the Labour Council to be used for this holiday season.
